Post Imprinter - The optional imprinter unit prints identification markers like dates, alphanumeric codes and symbols on the reverse side of the original document after scanning for reasons such as compliance. The imprinter can serve as proof of capture and as a cross reference when combined with a virtual imprint on the digitized image.

• Prints characters on the back side of original documents after the documents have been scanned
• When used with PaperStream IP Drivers, a batch number can be printed on every document in the batch
• Or a sequential number can be printed on each document in the batch, per batch scanned
• By enabling the digital endorser setting in PaperStream IP Driver, the same number printed on the physical documents can be digitally inserted onto the captured digital image of each document for cross referencing, validation and compliance
• Printing physical characters on documents can also help with efficiency of retrieving archived physical documents
